TAOIST 5 ELEMENTS & CHI NEI TSANG
"Getting in Touch with our Metal Element" virtual class
In Metal we find the courage to be in touch with ourselves and our
breath. We are alive in our senses. Metal is refined and the symbol of
alchemy. As we move towards Autumn, the season of Metal, we may become aware of grief that has not been fully processed and is stored in our lungs and/or large intestines.
In this class you will be guided in Chi Kung practices that support
and strengthen the Metal element in you, such as Lung Healing Chi Kung,
the Inner Smile, Metal Healing Sounds and Chi Kung movements to
encourage chi flow through your Metal meridians. There will be gentle
guided Taoist-based meditations to help you get more in touch with yourself and your feelings (which we find in Metal) as well as body-based practices drawn from other streams of wisdom such as Western Sufism and Somatic Experiencing.
Dates: Sept. 27th, Oct. 4th, Oct. 11th 18th, 25th, Nov. 1st
