My name is Jamia Janine Walter.
Thank you for being here.
I’ve been a healing arts practitioner for 25 years. It began (and continues) as a personal journey and over time, it grew into a heart-centered practice that has guided me to work with people from all walks of life. Whether you’re here to learn, find balance and clarity or here as part of your own healing journey, I am committed to providing you an environment of safety, connection and respect where you can gently explore your inner world of body sensations alongside their related thoughts and feelings, and most importantly, your body's innate capacity to heal.
Trauma integration, including intergenerational trauma
Alleviating digestive discomfort
Learning body-based life-enhancing skills and techniques
Building a healthy relationship with yourself and others
Connecting to a felt-sense of purpose and meaning in your life
Establishing a safe container to explore your inner life and body
Uncovering the felt-sense of safety and ease in your body
Life transitions, grief and loss
As a result of our work together, clients have reported that they feel more at home with themselves in their bodies. They feel more connected, present and have a clearer sense of purpose. They also have a greater capacity to handle stress and experience more enjoyment in life. While those who came to The Embodied Center to alleviate physical symptoms reported that their pain levels went down and that their quality of life returned or improved.
While the process and outcomes are different for each person, I would like to invite you to take the first step today.
When we are rooted in a positive sense of who we truly are, we are able to clearly see others for who they are and support this interconnected web of life we are all a part of.
